1. A wasp is any insect of the order of Hymenoptera and suborder of Apocrita that is neather a bee nor an ant.
2. The wasp was created by God.
3. Wasps mainly eat Coca Cola which they get from picnicking families.
4. Pound for pound the wasp’s sting is more powerful than the bite of a house spider combined with the slap of an elephant’s trunk. But less powerful than the jaws of a blue swimmer crab.
5. Some people have argued that because the wasp is evil it must have been created by the Devil, however that is not the case as it was definitely created by God as He created all the animals and insects. God probably created the wasp as a test of man’s faith, or because He hates picnics.
6. Wasps are striped. Other striped things include zebra crossings, zebras, zebra stripe leggings and Brighton Rock.
7. Many people think wasps are stupid, but they are not, they just have a different purpose and drivers in life to us humans - which is why they cannot read.
8. Wasps have 6 legs. If a wasp loses a leg is does not grow it back like a lizard leg, or like a wasp leg.
9. Some people are allergic to wasps. Often on aeroplanes where someone on board has a wasp allergy there will be a strict no wasps policy.
10. The biggest wasp ever measured by man was a Chinese hornet seen on the internet and it was bigger than a hand.
